Caring for your Pashmina
With proper care, your Pashmina can last for many years - if you take proper care of it. It will even get softer and more luxurious with frequent use.
In general, dry cleaning is the preferred method of washing for pashmina and cashmere care. However, you can hand wash occasionally if you are careful and follow a few guidelines that are listed below.
To wash by hand, completely dissolve a little soft detergent such as baby shampoo or Woolite in very cold water. Softly squeeze the pashmina - do not wring or twist. Be very careful not to tangle the hand-tied tassels / fringe during this process. Rinse until water runs clear and then simply lay it flat to dry, away from direct sunlight.
Once dry, you may warm iron with a damp lint free cloth between the iron and the fabric.
