SHOWY EVENING PRIMROSE aka Mexican/Pink Evening Primrose. A really nice-looking night blooming plant. The pedals are so bright, people used to think they were phosphorescent. They were used to line walkways to help light the way. Easily grown from seed, and pretty much carefree after established. This a tough plant with a long-life span. A very deep root system makes them drought and heat tolerant. Floods, fire, no problem. At one time the roots of this plant were used to treat hangovers. Native to the dryer parts of México and South America. Showy primrose will spread from reseeding itself. To limit the spread, just pinch off spent blooms and cut back when done blooming. A really good looking, hardworking plant that isn't needy or picky. My kind of plant! 500+seeds per order. Thank You!
