Description

This is a vintage set of woodworking plans for a 3-piece sewing center.
From the 60s.
From the American Plywood Association.
Part of their Young American Design Series.
Project 15.
Sewing convenience and portability with storage - that's what this compact, handsome sewing center is all about.
And all three units are mounted on casters for fast, easy storage in less than 2' x 4" of floor space.
There are plans for:
A sewing machine cabinet that has a folding drop leaf top
A bench with storage
A storage cabinet with shallow and deeper drawers, and drop leaf ends for additional work space.
The table tops are covered with laminate for durability and easy maintenance.
These are very detailed and well-designed plans.
I would have loved to have a sewing center like this back in my sewing days!
This is a brochure that folds out to poster size, with plans on front and back, material lists, etc
A good challenge for an experienced wood worker!
In excellent, clean, complete condition.
From a smoke-free home.
