The next item up for your consideration is a Lafayette Stereo Headphones SP-77 W Extension Cable & Box.  These were tested the volume switches on the head phones had static but I hit them with deoxit 5 and it helped.  They sound pretty decent!  One of the plates on the side came off and will need to be re attached!
