This is a vintage ceramic elephant figurine that is stamped KLASSISCHER STIL PRACKTIGE QUALITAT (Classic Style Magnificent Quality) and also has the NORCREST JAPAN label intact so I am guessing the first one/origin made it and Norcrest distributed and sold it. The photos show the contrast in colors with a darker and lighter background. It measures approx 6" tall x 7 1/2" long on base and it is in good pre-owned  condition with no flaws or damage.
