Wonderful estate sale find in this lovely 1970's Vogue American Designer Oscar de la Renta pattern #1916 Misses' Dress! Loose-fitting, pullover, slightly blouson, sleeveless dress, six inches below mid-knee with back pleated into self lined one piece yoke has notched collar, patch pockets with buttoned flap, extended shoulders, front-buttoned band closing, bodice gathered at waistline, gathered skirt (with center front inverted pleat), side front slanted pockets and narrow hem. Top-stitching and edge-stitching. Self tie or purchased belt.

Oscar Arístides Renta Fiallo, known professionally as Oscar de la Renta, was a Dominican fashion designer. Born in Santo Domingo, he was trained by Cristobal Balenciaga and Antonio del Castillo. De la Renta became internationally known in the 1960s as one of the couturiers who dressed Jacqueline Kennedy.
