• Condition: The vase is free of chips, cracks and fleabites, including on all the crimps. The interior is clean with no residue or mineral deposits. The base has light shelf wear as expected. It's an absolutely stunning, rich cobalt blue color and exceptionally rare piece to find without carnival iridescence.

Knotted Beads was originally introduced in 1913 in several Carnival Iridescence colors including Royal Blue Carnival. The pattern was discontinued in 1918. In the 1920-30's Fenton revived some of it's Carnival and Stretch patterns in a wide range non-iridized colors. This vase is either an original piece that was sold without iridescence or a 1920-30's piece which is unlisted in Whitmyer or Heacock.
