About this Listing:
We are pleased to offer this Vintage Mechanical Windup "PLAYFUL CAT" toy made in Japan by "KOGYO". This whimsical toy is a kitten on his back playing with a ball. When wound, it appears as if the kitten is rolling the ball around with its four paws, all the while it's little tail is wagging (spinning) causing the kitten to move around in a circle. The original "MADE IN JAPAN" sticker is still on the kittens back. There is no box with this little windup. 

The toy was produced by a Japanese toy company known as "Kogyo". Their trademark is an MM in front of a three peaked mountain, meaning "Fuji Press Kogyo" trademark.

CONDITION/FUNCTION:
  • Excellent condition. 
  • Windup (keywind) operates strongly.
  •  Toys legs move, ball moves, moves in circular motion as tail spins.
