About this Listing:
We are pleased to offer this Vintage MECHANICAL WALKING BEAR. This mechanical windup toy was made in Japan in the 1950's decade by Masudaya Toys, also referred to as "Modern Toys". The condition of this toy is absolutely wonderful and in working condition. Wind him up and he walks along moving his head side to side. His black beady eyes are both still there and he has a shiny metal nose. A quick look at the bottom of his feet reveals that he has seen very little playtime as the printing is still present on the pads on his feet. The old original Masudaya "Modern Toys" Made in Japan Trademark Label is still on the belly of the bear. Those who know toys will recognize this one as being one of the old ones. 
Sorry to say that there is no box with this fine old toy.
