Trader Joe's Sweet Plantain Chips

They come from Quindío, Colombia, where they are harvested by hand, peeled by hand,

 and then hand-fed into a cutting machine before being cooked in small batches. 

The plantains are allowed extra time to ripen, increasing their natural sugars 

and giving these Chips to sweetness all their own (absolutely no sugar is added!).
