This Decorative Jewelry Box sports an antique brass leaf design containing green faux crystals. It is in a bisque or ivory color with textured see through glass in the lid. The glass texture resembles bits of rectangular glass fused together to form a whole. We aren't sure what the material is that makes up this piece, but we are guessing wood, due to the weight of this item. The metal leaf design is open and has an antique brass look, and is also textured which is offset with the sparkle of green faux crystals inset into the design. This jewelry box is one layer with a hinged lid also in antique brass finish on the 2 hinges. The interior has three total chambers. One for rings or earrings, and two other open chambers for bracelets and necklaces. There is one stain in the back of the ringed area. There are 4 rows for holding rings/earrings in place. The glass is held by four prongs in each corner, and also some putty or calking has been applied on the inside to keep the glass from shifting and doesn't show on the outside. The previous owner probably wanted it to be more secure. This is a lovely piece with a Victorian or Spanish feel, that can proudly be displayed while being functional. This piece weighs in at 2 lbs.
