Vintage Angela Frascone San Francisco Mod Boho Chic Roses Shells Resin Handbag Purse

Own this wonder designer piece with a 70's vibe from the late fashion artist Angela Frascone.  This handbag is a bright beautiful roses and sea shells 1970's inspired design in green, yellow, red, orange lavender, and black.  The bag is covered with clear patented polymer resin and has some very minor scratches on the surface finish.  It is embellished with a floral design on the front.  The bag measures 7-1/2 inches wide at the top and tapers to 5 inches wide at the bottom.  The bag is 5-1/2 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches deep and closes with a magnetic closure.  There is a single slip pocket in the interior. 

Angela Frascone Accessories, founded in 1982 specialized in whimsical floral and animal prints in bright fuchsia, green, blues, reds and pinks which were embedded in a patented polymer resin. The microfiber and silk bags were sold at Nordstrom and small boutiques.  The moment that put them on the fashion map was their first trade show in Paris in the late 1980s. "What was so interesting was that the American buyers noticed all the European buyers at our booth, and then they began to pay more attention to us.  Showing in Paris gave us validity and cachet."
