From the Wonderland Tea Shoppe at Disneyland, this is a clean, display only "Mad as a Hatter - Drink Me" mug in the shape of the Mad Hatter's tall top hat.  The mug is green ceramic measuring approximately 4-1/2 inches tall by 3-3/4 inches in diameter and holds 10 ounces of your favorite "intoxicating tea".  The design feature's the 10 shillings and sixpence price tag on the Hatter's Hat as depicted in the original book and movies.

The Hatter is a fictional character in Lewis Carroll's 1865 book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its 1871 sequel Through the Looking-Glass.  He is very often referred to as the Mad Hatter, though this term was never used by Carroll.  The phrase "mad as a hatter" pre-dates Carroll's works.  The Hatter and the March Hare are referred to as "both mad" by the Cheshire Cat, in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
