Like today when you break down in your car you need to call a triple A garage for them to come to your assistance.  In the late thirties in Lancaster County a catalog was issued with all of the triple A service stations listed.  This catalog is in good shape inside although the cover has a crease and there is a tear that runs all the way through the pages about an inch from the bottom on the right.  There is a small piece missing along the bottom cover where it looks as if it was nibbled, but it is a tear.  A place along the edge has had something heavy laid upon it and there is a divot that is obvious through the edges of the pages.  There is a smudge or two on the front cover and on the back cover.   Whether one of the sponsors, like Sunoco, paid for the publishing or triple A did I don't know.  There is a nice ad for Sunoco on the inside cover as well as a Portland Cement ad on the back cover.   We had a 1938 Chevy at one time so we had this in our collection to complement the other paper collectibles from that vintage.  It has been in a smoke free home. It measures 8 1/4 inches tall and 4 inches wide.  There are 48 numbered pages.
