When I wear them it feels like Quiksilver designed them with ME in mind. Made from 88-percent polyester and 22-percent spandex, they are light-weight which makes them perfect for a day relaxing on the beach, riding the waves or just swimming in a pool.

What sets the newest Quiksilver Cypher Boardshorts apart from past versions is the 4-way stretch Diamond Dobby fabric. When you look closely at the inside of the shorts you can see the tiny diamond-shaped pattern. This soft diamond shape in the fabric prevents nasty boardshort rash by reducing the material’s contact with your skin by 30-percent. I used to shudder when I would see Diamond Dobby fabric on boardshorts because it meant the shorts weren’t going to have as much flexibility as a pair without it.
