First issued in 1986, the American Silver Eagle has become far and away the most collected modern silver coin in the World! Now, after 35 years this classic and popular coin is being updated with an enhanced obverse design and a brand new reverse design!

Like the original, this new Type 2 Silver Eagle features the classic Adolph Weinman Walking Liberty design on the obverse. However, thanks to technological advancements in the design and minting process, Liberty now encompasses some of Weinman's original details that were not previously possible! The new Silver Eagle Type 2 reverse which was designed by Emily Damstra features a close up image of a Bald Eagle preparing to land while clutching an oak branch in it's talons.
