• Condition: One piece has a contact mark on the bottom which doesn't show through to the top. The balance of the saucers are is free of chips, cracks, fleabites and repairs. There is some crazing some minor crazing which is only easily seen on the bottoms. There are some minor discolored spots, none distracting. The bottoms have shelf wear as expected. Both pieces are marked with a clipper ship over "American Marine" in a banner over "F M & Co" which was used from 1845 to 1858 when Morley joined in partnership with Ashworth Brothers. The pattern was continued under Ashworth under the Mason's Ironstone tradename.
