The CWU-27P Nomex flight suit is  built to military specification FNS/PD 96-17 (MIL-C-83141A) as worn by all U.S. flight crews.

Constructed of 92% Meta-Aramid and 5% Para-Aramid, and 3% Conductive Fibers

, which makes this garment flame-resistant. Features a two-way zipper with pull, six primary pockets, adjustable waist belt with HOOK & LOOP fasteners, a knife pocket on the left inseam, pencil pocket on the left sleeve and a gusseted back.

The CWU-27/P Nomex Flight Suits feature:

CWU-27P Nomex flight suit is built to military specification FNS/PD 96-17 (MIL-C-83141A) as worn by all U.S. flight crews.

Flight suits of this type are worn by Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, & Coast Guard.  

The flame-retardant capabilities of this material make it ideal for protecting aviators in case of a fire.
Flame-retardant are also worn by oil field crews, truckers handling fuel, etc.

 COVERALLS HAVE A COVERED, HOOK AND LOOP FASTENED ZIPPERED PEN AND PENCIL POCKET ON THE LEFT SHOULDER, A PENLIGHT - KNIFE POCKET WITH A SNAP CLOSURE ON THE INSIDE OF THE LEFT THIGH, TWO ZIPPERED SLASH POCKETS ON THE CHEST, TWO ZIPPERED CARGO POCKETS ON THE THIGH, TWO ZIPPERED CARGO POCKETS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CALF, AND A ZIPPER WITH PULL FROM THE CROTCH TO THE COLLAR
