Dulcobis is a laxative medicinal product that stimulates bowel movements and softens the stools. The active substance is bisacodyl (Bisacodylum) 1 gastro-resistant tablet contains 5 mg of bisacodyl. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, maize starch, soluble maize starch, glycerol 85%, magnesium stearate, coating: magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, gum arabic, titanium dioxide (E171), methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate copolymer (1: 1), Methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate copolymer (1: 2), castor oil, macrogol 6000, yellow iron oxide (E172), white wax, carnauba wax, shellac. Dosage Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Short-term treatment of constipation Adults: orally 1-2 gastro-resistant tablets at bedtime. Adolescents and children over 10 years of age: orally 1-2 gastro-resistant tablets before going to bed. It is recommended to start treatment with the lowest dose. The dose can be adjusted to the highest dose recommended in order to achieve regular bowel movements. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose (2 tablets). Children 4-10 years: orally 1 gastro-resistant tablet at bedtime. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose (1 tablet). Children 10 years of age and younger with chronic or persistent constipation should only be treated under medical supervision. Enteric-coated tablets should be taken in the evening, so that in the morning there is a bowel movement. The tablets should be swallowed whole and washed down with plenty of water, not with milk. The tablets must not be chewed. The period of using Dulcobis without consulting a doctor should not exceed 5 days.
