This CPU has been stored for over two decades.  Cleaned, tested, and shipped in a plastic blister pack for protection.

I've been putting systems like this together since the 90's and work to preserve known good parts like this one.  

It is one of many items from a computer store that closed in 2003 and has been carefully stored since then.
