Woman to Woman by Eugenia Price (1974 Mass Market Paperback)

Eugenia Price did an excellent job of describing Jesus Christ as being Lord of our lives. The power of women topic is dwelt on in the beginning, and she notes the different dangers in the aggressive woman and the passive woman, explaining that we all tend to lean toward one of those two ways.

This book dissects different parts of our lives and how they might look when obedient to God. But she does this while allowing for differences of opinion and not arguing little points. The big point is that Jesus is Savior AND Lord.

Eugenia Price (sometimes Genie Price;1916–1996) was an American author best known for her religious and self-help books, and later for her historical novels which were set in the American South.  She was a New York Times bestselling author of 39 books, with over 40 million copies sold.

Mass-market paperback has complete cover showing wears at edges, few reading creases in spine, compression creases from storage.  Tape at head and foot of spine for reinforcement.  Prior owner's name on top & bottom page-edges and signature on front facing end page, adds no value.  Interior is tight, clean and otherwise unmarked.

Copyright 1959.  Printed in U.S.A.  This copy from the 38th printing in January 1974. At that time, the cover touted: "More than 600,000 copies in print!"  No ISBN nor LCCN.  MSR = US $0.95.

Notes on Condition/Edition ratings:

Fine – means like new, but any book produced over 10 years ago isn't “brand new” or even “new.”  Booksellers, like coin collectors, needed some word to describe this...

Like New – A new book, no marks no damage (except maybe remainder marks or shelf-wear) except not obtained directly from the publisher or in packaging from the publisher.

Good – How someone else might take care of a book. Also referred to as “standard.” This is the most likely condition for books of this age & title, shows the book has been read or previously owned.

Acceptable – How a young child, student or a librarian might take care of a book. (Either trying to make sure someone doesn't steal it by plastering ownership everywhere, filled it with copious notes or a book that has been damaged.)

Poor – Combination of “acceptable” factors above. Most likely with water damage as well. Might have missing pages (you should ask).

Near – Means “almost” in an optimistic sense. e.g., “Near Fine” means very good, but on the high end.

1st Thus – Unique somehow, maybe 1st paperback, new illustrator, misprint or even the 1st edition. A collector might desire this copy.
