Unusual set of silver tone metal (possibly silver plate) mussels salt and pepper shakers.  No maker mark but JAPAN is embossed on the bottom of each shaker.

They are 2-3/8 inches high and have their cork stoppers.

There is wear on the metal from age and handling.  The salt shaker has a small damaged spot on the edge from possibly being dropped.  Otherwise, these heavy shakers are in solid and clean vintage condition.

Great set for a salt and pepper collection.
