This is a stilvertone metal gaming token from the Stardust Hotel and Casino.  It was after Boyd Gaming bought the resort in 1985 but has the new font from 1991.  So the token is sometime after 1991. It is a lightweight metal, possibly aluminum. It has a $1.00 value. It shows wear from use.

Stardust opened July 2,1958 as the worlds largest hotel with 1065 rooms. It closed Nov 1,2006 as one of the smallest on the Las Vegas strip with over 1500 rooms.  The Stardust resort was imploded on March 13,2007, and the 60+ acres now houses Resort World.

Stardust had an incredible history of criminal history and was the first to do RV parking a golf course, racetrack and more.  Now the signs are at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas.  This token has alot ot history behind it.
