c1897 LOT 7 M&C DERRICK WRECKING CO RAILROAD TRAIN WRECK PHOTO COLD SPRING NY. The derrick is marked Merritt & Christian Derrick Wrecking Co NY. I could not see a rail line mark on any of the cars. Each has a photographers imprint of Juley, Cold Spring NY. The 7 photos show the same derailed train cars being removed by the derrick from the Hudson river. Sepia toned, some soiling and wear, including edge and corner wear. backs blank, several are faded. Larger photos measure 10" x 12". Backs blank except for light framers marks. There are some edge tears, but overall good for age. A nice find.
