Please check the thickness of this cards to make sure it doesn’t conflict with your other pcie cards. This card is Nitro+, not Pulse. It is longer and thicker than Pulse. It has larger heatsink and higher quality of GPU chip, and thus higher performance. If you put it in slot 1, you may not use slot 2 for other cards.

The downloaded boot loader is a must have to run Mac OS Monterey. It also can:

* Display boot progress bar

Note:

This card only works with Mac OS Monterey 12.1 or newer. Wish you are ok with that. We do provide instruction on how to upgrade to Monterey in the instruction paper, in case you haven't upgrade yet. Also upgrading to Monterey make make obsolete hardware like wifi card stop working. After plug in this card, you need reset nvram before it starts to work.
