If your horse is leaning on your leather cavesson, as many horses do, this pre owned nylon rope cavesson is the training aid you need.  The texture of the rope noseband will teach the horse to respect and "back off" the cavesson.  This noseband is made of 3/16 inch round nylon rope and is 21 inches in circumference with a knot at the chin.  The headstall is made of 1/2 inch burgundy latigo leather and adjusts with a loop and tie.   The headstall is held in place on the noseband by hand braided slit knots.  The leather has been recently conditioned.  This is well made piece of training tack with a makers mark "Cheaney" as shown for Bruce Cheaney of Gainesville, Texas.  This quality piece of tack will give you many years of additional use and is a necessary addition to any training program.  Bruce Cheaney is a maker of fine handmade custom saddles, bits, and spurs.
