Missouri (Dwarf) Evening Primrose. A great little blooming perennial that has big yellow flowers. Also known as Ozark Sundrops. This is a hard-working plant. Easy to grow from seed. Will start blooming 8-10 weeks after sprouting. Full sun or partial sun. Not real picky about soils. Doesn't do well in extended soggy conditions. This is a long lived, tough as nails plant that has a extensive root system making it very drought tolerant and a excellent choice for erosion control. Only gets about 12" tall but spreads out sideways via the root system. This strain of primrose also does well in containers. Blooms continuously from early summer through fall. The flowers are short lived, so they don't make very good cut flowers. Pretty much a carefree plant after established. Light water if no rain and a little fertilizer.

• Perennial.
• Full sun / Part shade.
• Spring, soil temp 68F+.
• Sow - 3 seeds per plant into soil, 1/16" deep, 12" apart. Keep moist.
• Germination 14-28 days.
• Thin to one seedling (the best). Cut out unwanted seedlings with scissors.
• Height about 10" x 12" wide.
• Light water if no rain. You can cut this plant back after blooming to contain without any harm to the plant.
• Flowers are yellow. Blooms from early summer through fall.
