Who doesn't love taking a crisp bite off of a celery stalk. This heirloom variety is stringless, and grows nicely rounded thick stalks and doesn't require alot of space so it's good for patio gardens and containers. Grow Utah celery seeds in full sun. If in a hot climate start the seeds in summer so that they will start growing their stalks by fall to avoid any wilting. Ensure the soil has good drainage. Space celery plants almost foot apart if you're planning waiting until stalks are large to harvest. Plant seeds 1/4 an inch deep. Germination takes up to 21 days.
