The RS Air Thermostat has an exceptionally rapid response and low switching differential and is therefore suitable for use in all industrial and commercial heating applications. 

The thermostat has a snap action switch, operated by a bi-metallic strip, and is fitted with a shunt accelerator heater to ensure the low switching differential and to prevent overshoot.
