Lovely MCM lamp features an amber glass moon and stars body, sandwiched between an antiqued brass base and antiqued brass shade holders and fitter ring.

It has a skeleton key switch, and will work with a 3 way dimmable light bulb with an E26/E27 standard base (BULB IS NOT INCLUDED). It will also work wirth a non- dimmable bulb, but you will have some extra clicks on the switch that serve no function.

VERY GOOD CONDITION ~ WORKS PERFECTLY! Mild aged patina to the brass, but no corrosion. Bottom is missing felt cover. No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites or damage. Original cord is in great shape. Plug end has some brown tape that appears to have always been there. It serves no apparent reason, but I did not remove it, just in case it does. 

As it is (without the shade) it measures approx. 12 3/8" tall x 10" diameter fitter ring. 

Inner hurricane shade holder will hold a hurricane with a 3" diameter base.

Cord is approx. 7 1/2' long.

I am not certain how hard it would be to find a shade original to it, though I have seen a few floating around online. It would be easy to match it with a nicely coordinating shade, perhaps milk glass), and add a glass center hurricane, for a nice addition to your mid-century modern decor.
