You are buying a circa 1915-45 set of (8) 5” tall 5 OZ WATER GOBLETS in WHEAT pattern by HAWKES GLASS CO. These glasses are what is referred to as grey cut and are acid stamped HAWKES on the underside of the foot of each glass. These are a deeply cut pattern and somewhat heavy glasses. The foot of each glass has a delicate ring pattern cutting. Tap these glasses and they have a strong ring. If your not familiar with the HAWKES glass co. it is one of the top American cut glass companies and highly sought after. These glasses are sturdy somewhat heavy not overly thin and delicate.
The condition is very good no chips or cracks and no cloudiness just some very light use scratches mostly to underside of foot.
