Vintage 1980's Max Factor Revitalizing Cleanser and Conditioner for Wigs

I am guessing this was produced and sold between 1988 and 1991.
Max Factor was sold to Proctor & Gamble in 1991 and this bottle says "A Revlon Company" so it must predate that.
However, it has an HDPE plastic recycling symbol on the bottom and those did not come into use until 1988.
