1952-53 PHOTO CAPTAIN COURTNEY SHANDS USS ORISKANY AIRCRAFT CARRIER USN US NAVY. From the estate of Edward C Sieleg of the USS Oriskany Historical Society whom had a bar and restaurant called "Eddies Pioneer Oak Bar" on St Rt 69 just outside of Oriskany NY. Inscribed to Edward C Sielig by commanding officer from 1952 to 1953 Courtney Sands, who later was promoted to Rear Admiral. Light soiling, image a bit blown out. Frame well worn. Photo measures 8" x 10". Frame measures 9" x 11". I have other Oriskany photos I will be listing from Sielegs estate. A nice find.
