 
Vintage Fisher Price Fun-with-Food #2113 Whistling Tea Kettle Playset COMPLETE/NR MINT! (D)
In 1987, Fisher Price introduced its wildly popular Fun- with- Food series. Produced for a total of 4 years, the #2113 Whistling Tea Kettle Play Set offers tea service for two and a Whistling Tea Kettle! Lift the kettle by its handle and set it down and the tea kettle magically emits a "whistling tea kettle sound." The tea kettle does not require any batteries, water, or heat sources, thus making it a superb dramatic play toy. If your little "hostess" wishes to "pour" some real water, she can push the yellow button to open the cover off of the spout. Water can be inserted into the little spout and then poured into one of the cups. Overall, I would consider this play set to be in NR MINT condition. Specifically, items composing this set and their condition are as follows:
1 VHTF white/blue, and yellow Whistling Tea Kettle (EXC+++--NEAR MINT) very slight yellowing of curve on white front and back surfaces; this looks a zillion times worse in my photos than it does in person; there is some slight yellowing on the white edges around the surfaces of the where the blue handle goes up and down; the blue handle is free of any darkening due to age);
2 VHTF yellow cups with a flower design on one side and easy to hold handles and Fisher Price toys imprinted on the bottom (NR MINT-MINT);
2 VHTF orange saucers with Fisher Price imprinted on the bottom (MINT); and
2 VHTF white plastic spoons with a flower on the base of each handle (MINT).
This is an incredible set and one that will fascinate any preschool youngster. Fisher Price designed this set for children ages 3-7 years of age. Children under 3 years of age or still mouthing their toys should probably not be given this toy. Adult supervision is suggested if this set is given to children under 3 years of age.
NOTE: This play set is not a part of the recent recall of Fisher Price toys manufactured in China. The tea kettle was made in the U.S.A and the spoons in Korea. I could not discern a country of origin for the saucers and cups. The time frame when this set was produced does not match the recalled items. Most of those items originated in the mid-90's when Fisher Price was acquired by Mattel. These were created by Fisher Price when they were still a division of the Quaker Oats Company.
I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning this play set and all of its accessories prior to sending it to its new owners. My play sets are IMMACULATE!
This particular offering weighs 1 lb. 1 oz. UNWRAPPED. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905). Since the wrapped weight will exceed 13 oz, I will not be able to send this via First Class Mail. Given its weight and size, I will be shipping this item via USPS Priority mail.

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.
In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item. S
ince Bonanza's shipping calculator does NOT offer Fed Ex Home Delivery as a shipping option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MANUALLY CHECK THESE RATES AND INSERT THEM INTO YOUR INVOICE. Otherwise, the shipping calculator may overcharge you.
Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required. I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. Once again, PLEASE wait to check out until I can combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE and can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping.
