This is a beautiful Pennsylvania State Police challenge coin. Coin is about 1 9/16" in diameter and raised lettering on both sides and gold plated with a reeded edge. Reverse side has St. Michael the Protector, Patron Saint of Law Enforcement. Coin is contained in an acrylic air tight holder.


The Pennsylvania State Police is the state police force of Pennsylvania, responsible for statewide law enforcement. It was founded in 1905 by order of Governor Samuel Pennypacker.
