The painting of a Victorian Lady at the sea is very well done quality. There are no maker/country marks because this is a pre McKinley Trade Tariff piece. The McKinley Trade Tariff was,the first federal legislation that mandated pottery/porcelain coming in to the United States had to be marked as to country of origin.
The condition is very good no chips or cracks, no knife cuts, just very slight gold wear on plate edges.
