• American Brilliant Period (ABP) Cut Glass, likely Hawkes
• Footed (or Toed) Creamer and Sugar Set
• Motifs: Pinwheels, fans, prisms, strawberry diamonds
• Crystal; Clear
• Antique c. early 1900's
• Measurements: Creamer - 3 5/8" outer diameter and 4" high at the handle. Sugar - 4 5/8" outer diameter and 3 1/4" high at rim
• Weight, prepackaged: 2 lbs 14.2 oz as a set

• Condition: Both pieces are free of chips and cracks. There are a handful of minor fleabites on the exterior cuts, none distracting, but most notable on one set of sugar fans. The rims are free of fleabites. The handle and feet applied and free of heat checks. There are no notable scratches from use or storage. The bottoms have slight shelf wear as expected. The cuts are well planned and superbly executed. The glass is crystal clear with nice clarity, resonance and a slight green glow under UV light. There are no notable flaws or bubbles in the glass.

The toe design is identical to Hawkes toed ferners in their 1913 catalog. An identical shape creamer and sugar set has been found signed in Hawkes' Yale pattern. This set is unsigned. It's certainly a Hawkes blank, but possible it was cut by another firm.
