• American Brilliant Period (ABP) Cut Glass
• Vase, Square Footed
• Motifs:
- Body: Gray cut prunt centered Chrysanthemum flowers, intaglio cut leaves and stems
- Foot: Intaglio Cut floral, wreath and small circles
- Prunts: Recessed center with middle dot and 4 concentric rings of dots, honeycomb sides
• Crystal; Clear
• Antique c. 1910
• Measurements: 9" high, 3 1/4" rim diameter, 3 7/8" (roughly square) base
• Weight, prepackaged: 2 lbs 2.4 oz

• Condition: The vase is free of chips, cracks and fleabites. The interior is clean and free of mineral deposits and residue. There are no notable marks or scratches from use or storage. The base has light shelf wear as expected. The bowl form is blown. The flower centers appear to be prunts extending out 1/4-3/8", fused to the sides and cut, there are only slight indents on the interior where each is attached. The cuts are exquisitely detailed and superbly executed. The glass is crystal clear with a slight green glow under UV light, most visible at the foot. The glass has excellent clarity and resonance with no notable flaws.

It's an absolutely stunning piece. The quality and craftsmanship is exceptional which few cutting houses could accomplish (Dorflinger, Hawkes, Steuben, Tuthill come to mind). The vase is unsigned and I've not seen a catalog, advertisement or reference to anything close. It's a true rarity and will be a talking point in any ABP collection.
