SNOWBALL SELF BLANCHING CAUILFLOWER- Once planted, it may take 65-75 days until Snowball Cauliflower is ready to harvest. Recommended by USU and is well adapted for short season areas. Pure white Snowball Cauliflower is used in the kitchen in multiple cuisines: pickled, roasted, pizza crusts, riced, pureed, and mashed in place of conventional mashed potatoes. A great choice for Northern and Southern gardens, Snowball Cauliflower reliably produces heavy yields of 6-6 1/2 in., pure white heads, or curds. Its large wrapper leaves protect the heads from the sun. A self-blanching variety, Snowball Cauliflower does not require tying the leaves to protect the heads. Cauliflower is a cool season crop, and most gardeners start seeds indoors in the spring and transplant to the garden. When growing, keep in mind that cauliflower is more sensitive to the cold than others in the cabbage family. Can also be planted as a fall crop. 65-75 days. 400+ seeds per order.
