BELLAIRE GOBLET CO. No. 91

Bellaire's Bull's Eye aka Findlay's Bellaire

Introduced c1891

This clear and very sparkly cruet features a fluted neck and round body with large circles or bull's eyes.

.  There is a single band of bullseyes with raised diamond points at intersecting arcs of the circles and, the top and bottom of the bullseyes form a fluted appearance which echoes the actual flutes at the neck.

The bullseyes themselves are delightful as the optical illusion seen at the center of each bullseye causes a reflection that magnifies the number of circles within a circle and adds interest to an otherwise plain pattern.

The square stopper is original to the cruet and sits snug in the cruet. It has bullseyes on each of the 4 sides plus one on top. There is chipping at the base of the stopper and a couple minut fleabites.

Dimensions:

5 1/4 in tall from base to tip of spout

Overall height with stopper 7 in

Condition:

There are multiple fleabites and some chipping on the high diamond points mostly at the upper part of the band of circles and on the outer edges of the circles themselves. This pattern is very forgiving of these issues as the damage is hard to see.

I wish this was a perfect piece but at well over 100 years old it remains a great piece to add to a collection and can continue to be used without fear!
