Quilted Christmas Stockings ( Handmade, TLohr Originals)

TLohr Original Quilted Christmas Stockings

Christmas stockings have been a holiday tradition for centuries.  Originally they were the actual stockings we wore every day.  They have evolved into beautifully colored, festive larger stockings that we are familiar with today.  The original stocking stuffers were gold coins from St. Nicholas to help those less fortunate than himself. While you may not see gold coins in your stocking these days the gifts are still guaranteed to brighten the eyes of the receiver.  To keep this tradition alive we are happy to offer these homemade stockings to all our customers.  Our own little elf has stitched each of these stockings with the hope that they will find a warm place in your home. An exclusive of Betta Believe It where if you see it our store you Betta Believe It.

Care for your lovely Stockings:

Recommended hand-washing with mild detergent due to the Faux Fur Trim. Faux Fur has a tendency to shed, so hand-wash by itself. Fill sink or plastic tub with cool or cold water, add a tablespoon of mild laundry detergent. Mix the detergent in the cool water. Submerge your stocking. Squeeze the Faux Fur Trim, do not agitate, just gently squeeze. You can agitate the Stocking body. Empty sink or tub, refill with cool or cold water and submerge stocking again to rinse out soap. Repeat the rinse until the soap has been removed. Again, Squeeze to remove as much water as possible. Lay a towel on the counter, place stocking on towel and roll stocking in towel squeezing as you roll the towel. If the Faux Fur looks, or feels matted, use a soft bristle brush and very lightly brush the fur. If the fur starts falling out, you are using too much pressure. You can use a teaspoon of hair conditioner mixed with 2 cups of water mixed in a spray bottle and lightly spray the fur prior to lightly brushing. Hang stocking by the foot so the Faux Fur Trim hangs upside down and let dry. After dry, lightly brush the Faux Fur again with a soft bristle brush. Do not store your stocking before it is completely dry. It can take 24 to 48 hours to completely dry.
