*Please note that the item was stapled shut when I received it but there are some scrapes on the plastic case, so I decided to open it and test it. I am marking as “used” but it appears unused.

I tested both the cat and dog and they work well. The back contains a battery compartment where you can also put in a 9 volt battery, possibly to use without the adapter.
