URBAN ARMOR GEAR was founded in 2012 in Orange County, California – the action sports center of the world. Bored with the corporate world and unimpressed by the case offerings at the time, three founders got together and decided to create a case that could provide unrivaled protection for their phones in the most challenging situations. The first iPhone case UAG developed was for the iPhone 4, and featured UAG’s signature pattern, inspired by jerry cans. Jerry cans were first popularized during World War II, made of pressed steel to create rigidity and strength while remaining lightweight to transport liquids like gas and water to troops. UAG includes its own now-iconic version of the jerry can design to invoke this sense of high-quality, military-grade strength that has come to represent UAG. Initially, sales were slow and it wasn’t until the Samsung S3 was launched that the market started to take notice. Through brute force, UAG was able to make a name for itself by marketing in forums, blogs (remember those?) and giving away free samples to tech enthusiasts. Soon word began to spread and stories began pouring in of customers whose phones were protected by UAG after they were dropped off buildings, down walls, run over by cars, and worse. The fun didn’t stop there. As phone manufacturers put out larger and larger devices, the need for protection increased even further. UAG went to great lengths to prove our cases could stand up to the rigors of active lifestyles and embarked on a series of tests to demonstrate it our breakthrough design and functionality.

4. Insurance is provided with PRIORITY Mail (Expedited shipping level).

5. Carriers - Primarily USPS, but will use UPS and/or FedEx if item requires or is a better fit for their networks.

6. Sellers are not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier, exclude weekends and holidays, and may vary with package origin and destination and/or SERVICE LEVELS, particularly during peak (Holiday) periods. (Sellers have NO control over the CARRIERS)

7. Domestic (U.S.A.) Shipping - Domestic (all 50 states, U.S. territories, APO/FPO & P.O. Boxes) shipping rates are calculated based on package weight, size, & destination & costs (packaging, fees, time). We ship within 1 business day after cleared payment.

8. International (Worldwide) Shipping - If you are in a country that is eligible for the Global Shipping Program, per our agreement with, we must ship using the Global Shipping Program. Direct shipping costs are prohibitive to buyers.

9. Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstances, since FREE Returns are offered.
