Known as America's oldest pottery, founder Benjamin Harker began making pottery in East Liverpool, Ohio in 1840, operating out of a log cabin, and remained on its original site for 91 years. In 1931 the plant moved across the river to Chester, West Virginia and took over the old Edwin M. Knowles plant. For 131 years Harker Pottery produced everything from dinnerware to bathroom fixtures. In 1971 the company was sold to Jeannette Glass Company and all operations ceased in 1972.

Fruit/Dessert (Sauce) Bowls measure approx. 5 1/4" diameter x 1 1/4" tall.

GOOD CONDITION ~  One cereal bowl has a couple discolored specks, and a mild stain (see last pic). No other chips, nicks, cracks, flea bites, or repairs. These do have a bit of mild crazing, as well as some utensil marks/scratches overall, as one might expect of a gently used set of this nature.
