It'd be hard to make a bigger statement than the one this Gothic Cathedral pendant makes. This is a big, bold and dramatic lantern that commands attention and awe. The light stands 52 inches high and has 58 inches of chain and cord (you could remove chain to shorten the drop to whatever you need.) Cathedral lights of this type and size are almost impossible to find—and we have TWO. Price is for one, but purchase both and we'll discount 10%. Allow a week for the second light to be prepped for you.

The lantern was in a Benedictine monastery that was razed over 15 years ago.

The body is heavy steel with a nice patina. There is some finish loss and rubbing, but nothing that we believe is detracting. Some small bits of rust here and there, mostly unseen on the inside of the lantern. Wear and finish is typical of age. The finish is original with a gold cap and gold highlights. The "glass" is a heavy plastic of some sort that is leaded in place like stained glass.

Wiring is new, cloth covered as shown. The socket is an E29 with an E26 adapter so it takes standard bulbs.

The canopy is a unique two-pronged slot-in affair, but you could switch it out for a standard canopy design.

The specs:

Lantern height: 52"
Lantern width 12"
Body cylinder is 10.5" x 27"
58" of chain
Weighs 29 pounds 10 ounces
