ITALIAN FLAT LEAF PARSLEY aka Plain. Italian parsley is a easy-to-grow herb that will do well in the garden or containers. It can even be grown in a windowsill. Although there are many varieties of parsley, Italian parsley is grown for it's flavor, for use as a culinary herb. Curly-leaved parsley doesn't have the flavor of flat leaf, so it's often used as a garnish. Parsley is easy to grow, easy to harvest, and it tastes great! All parsleys are notorious for their slow germination. To help speed things up, soak your seeds in water overnight before planting. Thin to single best seedling. Use scissors to cut out unwanted sprouts.

Medium/Light water. A little organic fertilizer if needed.

 

To harvest leaves, cut off entire stem about 1" above ground. To harvest entire plant, cut off 1" above ground and plant will grow back.
