Additional Information:

The PP216, HA3019 and M16656-4 are all the same photocell and fit Desa brands of Master, Reddy, Remington, Knipco, John Deere, Nipco, Remington, Dayton, and Koehring torpedo and salamander type kerosene forced air heaters. Some people call it a photocell and some call it a photo sensor or a cad cell. A signal from the photocell or electric eye will tell the safety control (reset button) to shutdown. The PP216, HA3019 or the M16656-4 photocell has two purple wires that you connect to your safety control (reset button), with the photocell being on the opposite end of the wires.
