Vintage Ceramic Japanese Brown Grassland Mane Tail Horse Figurine

In good condition for age. Measures 7/8" wide, 2 5/8" long and 3" tall. One side is finely decorated and painted. The other side looks minimal. There is a black splotch on the tail and I am unsure of its composition. Please see photos.
