This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PAIR of WIRE DANGLE EARRINGS that was made in the EDWARDIAN to ART DECO style during the 1920s. They are handmade from 18K GOLD (stamped 18K on wire) and PLATINUM topped . The earrings are centrally bezel-set with 2 OLD MINE SINGLE CUT WHITE DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .11 ctw. They are additionally set with 26 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .16 ctw. The diamonds are in the H to J color range and SI to I clarity range and have a total diamond weight of approx. .27 ctw.
The earrings are detailed with 20 SYNTHETIC BLUE SAPPHIRES. A couple may have been replaced and there are a couple chips, but these stones are so small that is is not readily apparent when wearing the earrings. The total weight is 3.3 grams.
