In 1989, Fisher Price created a village of collectible houses, accessories, and people that could be manipulated via magnetic keys. They called this village Precious Places. The village was interconnected by special elevated sidewalks that animals, people, and accessories could traverse using the magnetic key. In addition, many of the buildings possessed special features that could be controlled utilizing these magnetic keys (e.g. turn on the lights, manipulate ceiling fans, rock cradles, open doors etc.). Each building and accessory set afforded its own unique key.
Here for your consideration is one, complete accessory set to this "magic world," the HTF Precious Places #5187 Ice Castle Skating Pond. One of the most popular of all the Fisher Price Precious Places accessory sets, this particular set was only manufactured between 1989-1990. This offering includes a translucent, blue green "ice skating pond" with raised "ice block edges" around it. The "pond" has a small round litho on one side that has pink hearts, ribbons, red holly berries, and the words Precious Places emblazened on it. This litho has a couple of minor creases on it (VG+) but the rest of the base is in NEAR MINT condition. The "pond" is elevated so the child can move the skater to and fro on the "ice" using the magnetic key. Additional accessories to this set consist of the following: 2 plastic evergreen trees (MINT), an "ice castle arch" with an opening the skater can skate through (MINT), Heather, the lovable ice skater (MINT), and an "icy blue green" magnetic key with a snowflake litho on it (MINT). I have lowered my overall rating of this set from NEAR MINT to EXC++ because of the aforementioned litho.
Note: Due to the number of small parts and the presence of small magnets, these toys were designed for children ages 5 years and up. They DEFINITELY should not be given to children under age 3 as the parts are too small for them to easily manipulate and they pose a choking hazard.
I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning this set prior to sending it to its new owners. My sets are IMMACULATE!

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.
In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.
Since Bonanza's shipping calculator does NOT offer Fed Ex Home Delivery as a shipping option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MANUALLY CHECK THESE RATES AND INSERT THEM INTO YOUR INVOICE. Otherwise, the shipping calculator may overcharge you.
Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.
